Dynamics 365 Business Central 2024 - Release Wave 1

This release wave plan of Dynamics 365 Business Central outlines all new functionalities that are planned to release from April 2024 through September 2024. Delivery times may change and projected functionality may not be released.

Highlights from the release include:

• Seamless integration with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for a unified customer experience. Core application functionality receives substantial investment in this release wave to optimise business processes.

• Expanded Copilot capabilities, featuring marketing text suggestions, enhance productivity for a broader spectrum of SMB roles. Focus on making Business Central AL developers more productive.

• Business Central is now available in more countries and regions worldwide, extending its global reach.

• Introduction of new tools and improvements for administrators to manage environments, apps, and data migrations. Empowering consultants, citizen developers, and users to achieve more while lowering the overall cost of changes.

In the 'General availability' column, the feature will be delivered within the month listed. The delivery date can be any day within that month. Released features show the full date, including the day of release.

Description of Enabled for column values:

• Users, automatically: These features include changes to the user experience and are enabled automatically.

• Admins, makers, marketers, or analysts, automatically: These features are meant to be used by administrators, makers, marketers, or business analysts and are enabled automatically.

• Users by admins, makers, or analysts: These features must be enabled or configured by the administrators, makers, or business analysts to be available for their users.

The 2024 release wave 1 is bringing a seamless experience for customers who use Business Central together with Power Apps, Power Automate or Power BI.
