The ‘Introduction in a Day’ courses are designed to give a brief overview of key functionalities and give insight to help you customise Dynamics NAV and Business Central the way you want it. You will learn about the rarely used functionality that could make your day so much easier. Did you know you can remove options from your busy navigation page, and even customise the ribbon bar at the top? Similarly, the ‘Advanced’ and ‘101’ courses, which are designed for users who have at least 6 months' experience with their Dynamics NAV or Business Central system, help to unlock more nuanced features that even accomplished users did not know about. Perhaps there are areas of the system that you are aware of, but aren’t sure what its function is? These courses help the user to better understand how these can be enabled on their system and gives them a further insight into how Dynamics NAV and Business Central can work for them – not the other way around!

When deciding if a course is right for you, it is worth noting that most courses do cover the most common questions you may have about the topic. Rob Johnson, one of our Customer Services Consultants, runs many of the courses and he has noticed the trend of follow up calls from attendees often run along the lines of: “There was a great new functionality I learned on a course recently and I just can’t quite remember how to do it!” The courses give the user both the inspiration and the knowledge to discover more about their solution. They are a platform for further training, should you need it, but often help cut down on more ‘run of the mill’ support requests too.
Rob’s favourite course to teach is the Advanced Finance course. He feels like it’s a course that clients often get the most out of. Back office finance solutions are often very limited in development (compared to warehousing or distribution, for example) but the most common phrase to come out of this session is always: “Not a lot of people know that!”
