WED2B design and sell affordable, off the peg bridalwear in their own boutique stores across the UK and Europe. The business started out in 2009, and now operate 56 stores across the UK and Europe to offer an ‘inclusive, relaxed and easy experience’ for both bride, bridesmaids and the mother of the bride! The business has featured twice in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, and in 2019 generated revenues of over £21 million.

WED2B joined TNP in 2016. Prior to that they were using an older version of Dynamics NAV with Microsoft RMS, a legacy POS and retail management solution that has now gone out of support. As RMS headed towards its end-of-life date, WED2B began their search for a replacement. They required a new retail management solution and a new Partner who could support their plans for growth into Europe. They selected TNP to support their in-house development team with their implementation of LS Central, the unified commerce software from LS Retail.

Following the move, WED2B have done extremely well, having opened multiple stores every year since. Making many of their own changes with their in-house development team, they reach out to TNP when they require expert guidance with more technical changes. Their Technical Engagement Manager Kishore (who’s been working with NAV for 15 years!) says, “the relationship between us and WED2B has always been a collaborative one. We have worked with their developers to provide targeted retail advice and consultancy when it is required. We have also provided them with technical guidance as to how to approach a particular solution or what needs to be done when scoping a project”.

The pandemic – and the rules surrounding large scale events like weddings – posed particular challenges for WEB2B. Rob Mole, Head of IT and Solutions at WED2B says, “the biggest challenge for any retailer is the speed with which you can adapt. LS Central and Dynamics NAV make it much easier for us to do so because all the configuration and reporting is in one place. Our people know the system and understand how it works – when we don’t, we lean on TNP. You need someone who you can contact at any point. With TNP, I know that when we ask questions, we will get answers and can move forward. This is invaluable to a growing business”.
